Breed: Morgan - Quarter horse cross. We like to joke that the front end is Morgan because he has the pretty face, cute ears, and sweet personality, but the back end is Quarter Horse.
He is well broke to ride but I've only ridden him a couple times. My niece rode him a few times when she was 13 and he did great for her. He was ridden recently by the farrier's 8 year old grandson, but it was bareback while being led. He has never needed a refresher between rides. He's usually ridden in a western saddle with a curb bit. He usually gaits. He doesn't neck rein but is very sensitive to leg cues.
He is very gentle natured and loves attention. I think he is the sweetest horse I've ever met, and I've met many horses.
The vet loved him because of his conformation, the farrier loves him because of his demeanor, and the equine dentist's assistant wanted to buy him from us, but we weren't ready to sell then.
