I'm selling Two Circus Collages that are in wooden frames. Both collages were done by Charleston circus artist Sonny Harris. Sonny Harris was an employee of the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus in the 1940's and 50's. He worked with the animal acts. He loved to restore old furniture into calliopes. He also worked on the beautiful calliope that stood at the Myrtle Beach Amusement Park in South Carolina. I bought several of his circus things in the 1980's. Both of these two framed Circus Collages are dusty. The frames are over three feet tall. Sonny Harris saved old circus programs and cut the pictures out of the programs and then used an antique finish over the photos. The second photo has an old peanut bag from what Sonny Harris said was the last show that Ringling Bros. ever did under a tent. He loved this the most. Please remember these are old and a bit dusty. The wooden frames have been wiped clean. These would look awesome in a circus themed room. Any questions please ask.
